Ten awards that exempt you from tuition fees for the whole academic year, for international students entering the first year of any Master of Science taught in English at the Cremona, Lecco, Mantova or Piacenza campuses. There is no cash: Silver is a waiver and nothing else, so you still fund your own living costs.

No cash allowance of any kind, unlike Platinum, Gold and Bronze. No housing, meals, travel or insurance. You still pay the administrative fee of approximately €170 to accept it, and if you do not pay by the deadline the scholarship counts as not accepted.

Why
Silver pays no money, but the incompatibility clause applies to it in full. Holding it rules out any other scholarship from Politecnico di Milano or from any other public or private body, Italian or foreign, except awards for international mobility programmes. So a Silver award can be worth less than a regional right to study grant you then cannot take. If you are awarded both, you have ten days from the most recent award to email international-scholarships@polimi.it and say which you keep, or all benefits are suspended automatically.

Which campuses and programmes qualify?
Any Master of Science taught in English at the Cremona, Lecco, Mantova or Piacenza campuses, entering the first year for the academic year the call covers. The call names no individual programme for this tier.
How do I renew it?
The sum of your exam grades multiplied by their ECTS must reach at least 700 points by 10 August 2027 for a 2026/2027 award, and you must continue in the same Master programme. If it is renewed you enrol for 2027/2028 paying only the administrative fee. If it is not, you pay both the administrative fee and the tuition fees.
