Politecnico di Milano does not price degrees individually. One all inclusive contribution covers any programme and is scaled by ISEE, the Italian measure of household income and assets, from 157.04 euro at the bottom of the scale to 3,943.04 euro at the top. The figure here is the top, because the university states that an international student in the reserved non EU category, admitted with a first level qualification obtained abroad and holding no scholarship, pays the maximum whatever ISEE says.

The degree
About this degree.
A three year Laurea at the Milano Leonardo campus on the production, transmission, distribution and use of electricity, from circuit theory and electrical machines through to power systems, measurements and electrical safety. It suits a student aiming at the energy transition and electrification: renewable sources, smart grids, storage, electric mobility and data centres.
The Politecnico di Milano states that electrical engineers study, design, and manage systems related to the production, transmission, distribution, and use of electricity. The programme presents these professionals as central to the energy transition and to electrification, across renewable energy sources, smart grids, storage systems, electric mobility and data centres.
The university's full description
The first year gives the foundations: mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer science and Circuit Theory I.
The second year widens into the industrial area, with thermal engineering and machines, and the information area, with electronics and control systems, alongside electromagnetism and economics and business organisation.
The third year specialises in electrical measurements, electrical machines, power systems and electrical safety, with laboratory based design activities. An optional internship of up to 10 ECTS credits is available.
The course page states that graduates are able to apply safety principles, prepare technical documentation, interpret legislative documentation and communicate with various stakeholders, and that Electrical Engineers are able to address the design, management, and production of electrical components, devices, equipment, and systems. The page reports an employment rate of 100% one year after graduation.
The programme lasts three years and is taught in Italian at the Milano Leonardo campus. The programme coordinator is Prof. Flavia Grassi.
