Politecnico di Milano does not price degrees individually. One all inclusive contribution covers any programme and is scaled by ISEE, the Italian measure of household income and assets, from 157.04 euro at the bottom of the scale to 3,943.04 euro at the top. The figure here is the top, because the university states that an international student in the reserved non EU category, admitted with a first level qualification obtained abroad and holding no scholarship, pays the maximum whatever ISEE says.

About this degree.
A three year Laurea at the Milano Leonardo campus covering the design and optimisation of the processes that transform matter and energy, built on mathematics, physics and chemistry and then applied thermodynamics, transport phenomena, chemical reactors, industrial plants, materials science and process control. It suits a student who wants to work on decarbonisation, the energy transition and the circular economy through plant and process design.
The Politecnico di Milano describes the chemical engineer as the professional who designs and optimizes processes that transform matter and energy, enabling the production of materials, pharmaceuticals, energy carriers and sustainable fuels, food products, and technologies essential to everyday life.
The university's full description
The programme places its emphasis on contributions to decarbonization, the energy transition and the development of the circular economy, through the design of plants and processes that are safe, sustainable and efficient.
The curriculum builds on foundations in mathematics, physics and chemistry and then moves into the subjects specific to the discipline: applied thermodynamics, transport phenomena, chemical reactors, industrial plants, materials science and process control. Laboratory activities, numerical exercises and group projects are part of the teaching.
The programme lasts three years and is taught in Italian at the Milano Leonardo campus.
