Politecnico di Milano does not price degrees individually. One all inclusive contribution covers any programme and is scaled by ISEE, the Italian measure of household income and assets, from 157.04 euro at the bottom of the scale to 3,943.04 euro at the top. The figure here is the top, because the university states that an international student in the reserved non EU category, admitted with a first level qualification obtained abroad and holding no scholarship, pays the maximum whatever ISEE says.

The degree
About this degree.
This bachelor covers programming, operating systems, databases, software engineering, computer networks, electronics and automation on top of a core of mathematics and physics. It suits students who want to build both the software and the hardware side of computing systems.
The programme presents computer engineers as the creators of the technologies that make modern life possible, and trains students to tackle and solve complex problems with a strong engineering mindset, working on both software and hardware.
The university's full description
Teaching is multidisciplinary. Foundation courses in mathematics and physics sit alongside engineering subjects such as electrical engineering and mechanics, ICT subjects such as electronics, automation and computer networks, and the core computer science of programming, operating systems, databases and software engineering. Laboratory work lets students apply what they have learned to real world problems.
The programme offers two tracks. One is computer engineering, which is focused on software. The other is telecommunications, which is focused on integrated hardware and software systems for smart devices.
Graduates entering the job market are prepared to engage in software and hardware design and development, applying their foundational knowledge of computer architecture, software systems architecture, and programming. Others continue to a master's degree.
The programme lasts three years and is taught in Italian, at the Milano Leonardo campus and at Cremona.
