General Admission Process: Selection is based on academic standing, CV, and level of knowledge of the English language.
A three-year undergraduate degree, with a grade equal to or above 80% for international degrees and a grade equal to or above 88/110 for Italian degrees belonging to the course classes (according to the Italian Ministerial Decree D.M. 270/04): L-16 Administration and Organisation Sciences, L-18 Economics and Management, L-33 Economics.
Or an equivalent Italian qualification running under the previous degree programme system or any other qualification issued by a non-Italian University deemed valid. The Admission Committee will evaluate the correspondence between the international degree and the Italian course classes.
For undergraduate degrees not belonging to the course classes mentioned above or not considered equivalent, the student must have obtained, by the date of the application, a total amount of 48 ECTS credits in the specific scientific-disciplinary sectors (SDS) such as: Business SDS (at least 18 ECTS credits), Economics SDS (at least 12 ECTS credits), Law SDS (at least 6 ECTS credits), Mathematics-Statistics SDS (at least 6 ECTS credits).
For international undergraduate degrees, the Admission Committee will evaluate the correspondence between the Italian scientific-disciplinary sectors mentioned above and the disciplinary field of exams taken in non-Italian Universities.
Certified knowledge of the English language at B2 level (Common European Framework).
Candidates do not need to be graduated before the application deadline, however: Non-EU candidates must be graduated before starting the pre-enrolment procedure at the Italian diplomatic Authorities; EU candidates may graduate by September/October to join the programme.
The pre-enrollment application on Universitaly is mandatory for all non-EU applicants not residing in Italy (including those holding a residence permit for other EU countries).

A two year Master of Science in Business Administration taught entirely in English at Tor Vergata's School of Economics in Rome, with a first year shared by everyone and a choice of five second year curricula. It suits graduates of a business or economics bachelor who hold English at CEFR B2 and want a career in management, marketing, supply chain, audit or HR.
The Master of Science in Business Administration is a two year degree at Tor Vergata University of Rome. It sits in the Italian degree class LM-77, Scienze economico-aziendali. Its course code is H73. The School of Economics runs it and the Department of Management and Law owns it. Teaching is entirely in English. The campus is at Via Columbia 2, 00133 Rome.
The university's full description
The first year is the same for every student. The 2026-2028 study plan lists seven core courses: COST ACCOUNTING, PLANNING AND CONTROL (12 ECTS), ORGANISATIONAL BEHAVIOUR - UNDERSTANDING YOURSELF AT WORK - SHAPING ORGANISATIONS (12 ECTS), ECONOMIC CHOICE MODELLING (6 ECTS), STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT - ENTERPRISE EVOLUTION - DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION STRATEGY (12 ECTS), BUSINESS ANALYTICS (6 ECTS), REGULATION AND COMPETITION POLICIES (6 ECTS) and INTERNATIONAL COMMERCIAL LAW (6 ECTS).
The second year is specialised. Students choose one of five curricula: Control, Auditing & Risk Management, HR in Transformational Change, Marketing and Sales, Supply Chain Management, and Management. Each curriculum publishes its own study plan. On top of the core and specialisation courses every student takes two elective courses worth 12 ECTS and extra activities worth 6 ECTS. The degree ends with a thesis worth 15 ECTS.
The school calls its teaching method blended. Theory lectures are also available online and course materials sit on a learning platform. Several courses on the study plan are marked distance learning. Seminars are given by industry professionals during the programme. Students are also guided into internships at public and private companies.
Fees come in two parts. A first instalment of 156,00 euro is due at enrolment. That instalment is the Lazio regional tax of 140 euro plus 16 euro of stamp duty. An annual contribution sits on top of it. The Student Handbook names this degree directly: an international student whose income is earned abroad, and for whom the Italian ISEE calculation does not apply, pays a fixed annual all-inclusive contribution of 2.500,00 euro. A student who does submit an ISEE-Università falls instead into contribution class 5, where the ordinary rate runs from 0 euro up to a maximum of 5.250 euro a year.
Applications are made online on the Delphi platform. The application fee is 30,00 euro and it is not refundable. The 2026/2027 call sets three windows. The first ran from 26 January 2026 to 30 April 2026 and it was the only window open to non-EU applicants who need a visa. The second runs from 18 May 2026 to 30 September 2026. The third runs from 18 January 2027 to 19 February 2027. The second and third windows are open only to Italian and EU applicants, to non-EU applicants who live in Italy, and to non-EU applicants who hold an Italian degree and a valid residence permit. Teaching starts on 14 September 2026.
Selection is based on academic standing, the CV and the level of English. There is no entrance test. Candidates are told the Admission Board's decision by email within one month of completing the application and validating the payment.

Can I apply if I need a study visa?
Not for entry in 2026/2027. The only window open to non-EU applicants applying for a visa was the first one, from 26 January 2026 to 30 April 2026. The second and third windows are open only to Italian and EU applicants, to non-EU applicants who live in Italy, and to non-EU applicants who hold an Italian degree and a valid residence permit. Visa applicants have to wait for the 2027/2028 call.
Do I need IELTS?
No. The programme accepts a medium of instruction certificate from your home university instead of a test, and it does not ask for a certificate at all if your bachelor was taught in English or if you are a citizen of a country where English is an official language. If you do take a test, IELTS Academic, Cambridge FCE, Cambridge BEC vantage and TOEFL are the accepted ones.
