What the call asks for

   Hold a bachelor's degree or a three-year university diploma, or another qualification obtained abroad that is deemed equivalent

   Have acquired at least 44 university credits (CFU) in the scientific disciplines listed in the call

   At least 18 CFU in the subject area of core subjects (mathematics, physics, computer science, statistics) from among MAT/02, MAT/03, MAT/05, MAT/06, FIS/01, INF/01, SECS-S/01

4. 04

   At least 24 CFU distributed at the applicant's discretion across the subject areas of scientific and technological studies, electrical and electronic engineering, telecommunications engineering, management engineering, computer engineering, economic and social sciences, and legal disciplines, from among MAT/08, MAT/09, INF/01, ING-INF/01, ING-INF/02, ING-INF/03, ING-INF/04, ING-INF/05, ING-IND/31, ING-IND/35, SECS-P/06, SECS-P/07, SECS-P/08, SECS-P/10, IUS/01 and IUS/20

   Knowledge of English at B2 level is required

   Admission requirements sheet: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Telecommunication Engineering, or a related field

   MINIMUM GPA: 75/100

   Assessment of personal knowledge, judged on the relevance of the undergraduate degree curriculum, other extracurricular activities including work experience and other training activities, knowledge of English at B2 level, and an interview (which may be conducted remotely)

   Applicants who have not yet graduated may request the eligibility check, but must obtain the degree by 19 December 2026 if graduating from another Italian or international university, or by 23 January 2027 if graduating from Sapienza

    Non-EU applicants residing abroad who apply for a student visa must hold a mandatory letter of pre-acceptance

The English rule

IELTS required

“From the MSc Cybersecurity entry in the Sapienza admission requirements sheet for 2026/2027, page 52: "MINIMUM ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS. Upper Intermediate - Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) Level B2. The following test scores are accepted: IELTS 5.5 or higher; TOEFL iBT 80 or higher; Cambridge English B2 First or higher; Trinity College London Integrated Skills in English - ISE II or higher. Please note that the above English language requirements are waived for: Native speakers of English; Students holding an English-taught diploma/degree from an accredited institution in the EU/EEA/Schengen or Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States; Students holding an International Baccalaureate, GCSE or comparable diplomas/certificates." The programme's own call for applications states only the level, not the scores: "Furthermore, knowledge of English at B2 level is required", and lists "proof of proficiency in English" among the documents to submit. This degree carries the country capped waiver, not an uncapped one, so an applicant from Pakistan must supply a test score.”
