Unverified. Not yet verified. A person has not opened the source for this cycle. Read off the institution own programme page on 13 September 2026 by a single research pass. It has NOT been independently re-checked: the verification stage of that run was stopped before it reached this record, so the record renders as unverified rather than claiming a receipt it does not have. The English requirement is held at unverified unless a per programme source URL was found. Figures here are a starting point for a reader, not a checked claim. Open questions: 1) Sapienza has not published a 2027 to 2028 pre-selection round. The 2026 to 2027 deadlines of 15 May 2026 and 31 July 2026 have both passed as of 13 September 2026, so applicationDeadline is left empty rather than filled with an expired date. 2) No start of lessons month is published for 2026/2027 on the catalogue page, the timetable tab or the academic calendar page, so intakeMonths is left empty. The academic calendar page only lists the 2025-2026 Christmas and Easter breaks. 3) The admission requirements document prints "Upper Intermediate - Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) Level C1" for this programme. Upper Intermediate is normally B2, so the label and the level disagree in Sapienza's own text. The accepted scores of IELTS 6.5 and TOEFL iBT 95 are unambiguous and are what I transcribed. 4) The admission requirements document calls the English curriculum "Curriculum Business Management (taught in English)" and links to programme 31834 for 2024, which now returns HTTP 404. The live 2026 catalogue, programme 33447, calls the English curriculum "Management and Business Strategy". Confirm the two names refer to the same track before publishing the curriculum name. 5) The university wide English sheet accepts FCE, CAE, CPE, PTE General Level 3 and PTE Academic. This programme's own row lists none of them, and instead adds Trinity ISE III and TOEIC. Confirm whether a Cambridge or PTE certificate is accepted for this specific degree. englishProofs was limited to IELTS and TOEFL for that reason. 6) The catalogue records access as "Verifica dei requisiti e della preparazione personale", which is neither accesso libero nor accesso programmato. accessType is set to restricted on the strength of the 100 place cap on the international route. Confirm how the domestic route is classified. 7) It is not confirmed whether the regional tax of 140 euro and the stamp duty of 16 euro are charged on top of the Band A contribution of 300 euro. Sapienza names both charges in other sections of the same fees article. 8) The per programme Call for Applications PDF linked from the apply tab was not opened. documentsRequired is the MoveIn pre-selection list, which is the route an international applicant uses. The programme's own call may ask for more. 9) The catalogue carries the banner "I contenuti del catalogo per l'a.a. 2026-2027 sono in corso di aggiornamento", so study plan details may still change. Before any of it counts

Start the legalisation chain first

A degree awarded outside Europe has to be attested and legalised before an Italian university reads it. That chain is decided by the country you apply from, and no office on it publishes a turnaround.

The degree

About this degree.

A two year master's degree in business management at Sapienza Università di Roma, taught in English on the Management and Business Strategy curriculum, covering strategy, leadership, marketing, competition law and corporate governance. It suits an economics or business graduate who already holds 72 ECTS of relevant credits and can show IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL iBT 95.

Business Management is a two year laurea magistrale at Sapienza Università di Roma, in degree class LM-77. The catalogue lists it as Management delle imprese - Business Management, programme code 33447. It sits in the Facoltà di Economia and the Dipartimento di MANAGEMENT, and is taught in Rome, in person. The catalogue records the language as Italian, English, because the degree runs four curricula and only one of them is taught in English.

The university's full description

The English curriculum is called Management and Business Strategy. The published study plan lists STRATEGIC AND INNOVATION MANAGEMENT at 9 CFU, LEADERSHIP AND ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE at 9 CFU and BUSINESS POLICY at 9 CFU in year one. Year two lists COMPETITION LAW at 9 CFU, CORPORATE GOVERNANCE at 9 CFU and a DISSERTATION at 18 CFU. The plan marks each of these [ENG]. It also marks this curriculum as valid for an Italian German or an Italian American double degree.

To apply you need a first cycle degree at EQF Level 6. Sapienza asks for at least a three year degree in Economics or Business Administration with 72 ECTS of relevant background. At least 18 ECTS must be in Business. The remaining credits must come from at least two of Economics, Mathematics and Statistics, Quantitative Analysis such as Informatics, and Law.

This programme sets a minimum GPA of 90 out of 100. That is the top of the range Sapienza publishes across its English taught degrees. Sapienza also states that holding the requirements is not a guarantee of admission, because each application is assessed individually.

The English requirement for this degree is set above the university wide B2 floor. The admission requirements document prints Level C1 for this programme and accepts IELTS 6.5 or higher, TOEFL iBT 95 or higher, Trinity College London Integrated Skills in English ISE III or higher, or TOEIC with all four skills. Duolingo is not accepted anywhere at Sapienza. The waiver for this programme is limited by country. It covers a degree taught in English from the EU, EEA or Schengen area, or from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom or the United States. A Pakistani degree taught in English does not qualify, so a Pakistani applicant must sit a test.

Places are capped. The admission requirements document states that only 100 candidates will be admitted and that an interview is possible. The catalogue records the access mode as a check of requirements and personal preparation rather than as open entry.

Sapienza charges students who declare income outside Italy a fixed yearly contribution set by country band. Pakistan is in Band A, which Sapienza prints as a total of 300 euro a year, paid in three instalments of 90, 105 and 105 euro. A student who files an Italian ISEE instead pays by income band, up to the standard rate for the Faculty of Economics, which Sapienza prints as a total of 2,821 euro a year. The application itself costs 30 euro for each programme submitted, and Sapienza states there is no application fee waiver.

International applications run through the MoveIn pre-selection platform. The 2026 to 2027 round opened on 22 December 2025. It closed on 15 May 2026 for candidates who need a visa and on 31 July 2026 for everyone else. Both dates have passed. Sapienza has not yet published a 2027 to 2028 round. A student may apply to a maximum of two programmes per academic year.

Asked about this programme

The questions this one gets.

Can I use a Duolingo English Test for this degree?

No. Duolingo is not on Sapienza's accepted test list. This programme accepts IELTS 6.5, TOEFL iBT 95, Trinity College London ISE III or TOEIC with all four skills.

My Pakistani degree was taught in English. Does that waive the test?

No. The waiver covers a degree taught in English from the EU, EEA or Schengen area, or from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom or the United States. Pakistan is not on that list, so you must sit a test.

What mark do I need?

Sapienza sets a minimum GPA of 90 out of 100 for this programme. Meeting it does not guarantee a place. Sapienza states that each application is assessed individually and that comparable GPAs may lead to different decisions.

Is the whole degree taught in English?

No. The catalogue records the language as Italian, English. The degree runs four curricula and only the Management and Business Strategy curriculum is taught in English.

How much does it cost each year?

Pakistan sits in Sapienza's Band A. Sapienza prints a fixed total of 300 euro a year for students who declare income outside Italy, paid in three instalments of 90, 105 and 105 euro. The application fee is a separate 30 euro for each programme.

How many places are there?

The admission requirements document states that only 100 candidates will be admitted. It also states that an interview is possible.

When can I apply?

The 2026 to 2027 round has closed. It ran from 22 December 2025 to 15 May 2026 for candidates needing a visa, and to 31 July 2026 for everyone else. Sapienza has not published the next round yet.

One programme, one university, once a year.

That is what Universitaly allows. Three questions tell you where you stand before you spend that choice: the degree level, what the visa wants in the bank, and how much calendar is left.
