About this degree.

A two-year laurea magistrale at Roma Tre in Rome covering business management: strategy, marketing, organisation, operations, law, statistics and sustainability. It runs three tracks, and one of them, Innovation and sustainability, is taught entirely in English.

Economia e Management is a laurea magistrale in degree class LM-77 at Università degli Studi Roma Tre. It is run by the Dipartimento di Economia Aziendale. Lessons are held at Via Silvio D'Amico, 77, 00145 Roma. The course lasts two years and is worth 120 CFU. Roma Tre prints the language of delivery as Italiano/Inglese.

The university's full description

The degree has three tracks. Marketing and Strategia e management are taught in Italian. Innovation and sustainability is taught in English. Each of the three also exists in a version with an internship, so the study plan pages list six curricula in total. Roma Tre lists the English track on its own page of study programmes delivered in English, under the name Management for innovation and sustainability.

The common part is four business subjects worth 36 CFU in total, in the sectors SECS-P/08 Economia e gestione delle imprese, SECS-P/10 Organizzazione aziendale and SECS-P/13 Scienze merceologiche. Each track then adds at least 9 CFU of business subjects, 12 CFU of economics, 9 CFU of quantitative subjects and 9 CFU of law. A further 15 CFU come from related and supplementary subjects. Students choose one more course worth 9 CFU. The last 21 CFU cover a language proficiency check worth 6 CFU and the final thesis. The thesis may be written in Italian or in English.

Access is open. Roma Tre prints the access type as Libero on the official course page. There is no ranked entrance examination and no quota. Applicants must instead submit an online career assessment, the valutazione preventiva della carriera, and receive clearance before they can enrol.

Entry needs a three-year bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification, plus at least 36 CFU spread across six named subject areas. Final-year students may apply if they will graduate by 28 February 2027. Applicants who are short of the 36 CFU must take single courses at Roma Tre or at another university before enrolling.

A check of personal preparation is required from two groups. The first is graduates whose bachelor's mark is below 90/110. The second is final-year students whose average mark is below 23/30. The check is made through an analysis of the applicant's record, an individual interview, a collective test, or a combination of these. For 2026/2027 it is held on 23 September 2026 at 12:30 and on 25 November 2026 at 12:30, at the department in Via Silvio D'Amico, 77. The department publishes a reading list for it. A fail does not block enrolment, but the department advises against enrolling after one.

The English track carries its own language rule. A certified B2 level in English is required to enter Innovation and sustainability, for holders of Italian qualifications and holders of foreign qualifications alike. Applicants without it must take a single course at Roma Tre, at another university, or at a body authorised to issue certificates. The two Italian tracks instead require certified Italian from non-Italian nationals holding a foreign qualification.

Fees are set by the university, not by the course. The first instalment of 156 euro covers a 16 euro stamp duty and the 140 euro Lazio regional tax. Above that, the annual contribution is graded by the ISEE income indicator across 88 bands. A student who files no ISEE certificate is placed in the highest band by default.

The certificate must be less than four years old. Duolingo is not on the list.

Is there an entrance exam?

There is no ranked entrance exam. Access is open. You do have to pass an online assessment of your previous degree. If your bachelor's mark is below 90/110, or your running average is below 23/30, you must also sit a check of personal preparation. For 2026/2027 it is held on 23 September 2026 and 25 November 2026.

What does it cost?

Roma Tre charges 156 euro of fixed items every year: 16 euro stamp duty and 140 euro Lazio regional tax. On top of that there is an annual contribution graded by the ISEE income indicator. In the lowest band the contribution is zero, so the year costs 156 euro. In the highest band the year is billed in four instalments of 522, 550, 550 and 624 euro. If you file no ISEE certificate you are put in the highest band automatically.

When is the deadline?

Career assessment applications for 2026/2027 close on 15 September 2026. A supplementary window runs to 18 November 2026 and carries a 60 euro late charge per application. Enrolment closes on 16 November 2026, or 28 February 2027 for those admitted conditionally.
