Business Administration and Management

The first year is shared by all students. It covers business administration, economics, private and public law, mathematics and statistics. From the second year the degree splits into five curricula. Four are taught in Italian: Amministrazione delle aziende, Gestione d'impresa, Finanza, and Intermediari e Mercati Finanziari. The fifth, Business Management, is taught entirely in English.

The English curriculum is the one an international student normally takes. Year one covers Business Administration, Microeconomics, Calculus and Linear Algebra, Financial Reporting, Macroeconomics, Introduction to Private Law and Data Analysis for Economics and Business. Year two covers Economic Policy, Statistics and Probability, Financial Markets and Institutions, Corporate Management, Financial Mathematics, Business Strategy, Strategy and Performance Management and Computer Tools for Economic and Business Analysis. Year three covers Budgeting and Business Planning, International Commercial Law, International Tax Law, Marketing Management and Sustainability Lab, with 12 CFU of electives, a 12 CFU optional group named Business Management I, and a 3 CFU final exam. Sapienza states that the Business Management curriculum lets a student take a Double Bachelor's Degree with Universite de Liege.

Admission is open. The Italian course page gives the access mode as Prova in ingresso per la verifica delle conoscenze, which the English page renders as Entrance test to verify knowledge. There is no cap on places and no merit ranking. A low test score does not refuse entry. It adds Further Required Courses, known as OFA, which have to be passed within the first year. For the English curriculum the accepted tests are the CEnT-S, run by CISIA, or the SAT, run by the College Board. Sapienza states that the English TOLC is no longer accepted.

An applicant who needs a student visa applies first through Sapienza's MoveIN pre-selection platform, which is what issues the pre-acceptance letter. For this programme Sapienza sets a minimum GPA of 80 out of 100, and asks for SAT 960 or higher, taken from 1 January 2024, or a CEnT-S overall converted score of 18 of 55. Sapienza also states that holding the academic and language requirements is not a guarantee of admission, because each application is assessed individually.

English is required at CEFR level B2. For this programme Sapienza accepts IELTS 5.5 or higher, TOEFL iBT 80 or higher, Cambridge English B2 First or higher, and Trinity College London Integrated Skills in English ISE II or higher. Duolingo is not accepted. The requirement is waived for native speakers of English, for holders of an English taught diploma or degree from an accredited institution in the EU, EEA or Schengen area or in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom or the United States, and for holders of an International Baccalaureate, GCSE or comparable diplomas or certificates. That last waiver carries no country list.

Tuition for 2026-2027 is not published yet. Sapienza's fees page states that the 2026-2027 amounts appear after 30 September. Fees are means tested against the ISEE, and students with foreign income are placed in reduced country bands, so this degree does not have one flat annual price.
