The Bachelor's Degree in Management and Artificial Intelligence is a three year programme at Luiss Guido Carli. It is taught entirely in English and awards 180 ECTS. Luiss places it in the Italian degree class L-18. The programme director is Mauro Sozio.
The university's full description
Year one builds the foundations. It covers Mathematics, Introduction to Computer Programming, Microeconomics, Digital Business Management, Statistical Modeling, Algorithms, Legal Systems in the Digital Age, Principles of Accounting and AI Lab. Year two applies data science, machine learning and artificial intelligence to business decisions, and includes a group course called Grand Challenge run with people from industry. Year three covers advanced data management, finance and the regulation of artificial intelligence. Luiss states that the programme does not require prior IT knowledge. Two electives, a mandatory foreign language, other activities, an internship and a final thesis complete the 180 credits.
There is no separate English certificate to send. Admission runs through the Luiss Test, and for a course taught in English that test is taken in English. The test is online and proctored, and uses psycho-aptitude questions modelled on the SAT. It measures logical reasoning, problem solving and mathematics. A second route is direct admission on a certificate. The accepted certificates and minimum scores are SAT Total Score 1200/1600, LSAT Total Score 160/180, ACT Total Score 25/36, and IB Diploma or Predicted Grade 36/45. You name one degree course when you apply, and that choice is binding for admission and for enrolment. For applicants from outside the EU and Schengen area, Luiss says the Committee weighs the test result, the submitted documentation and any assessment interview.
The fee for the first year in 2027/2028 is 15,000 euro. Luiss says it is paid in three instalments, in addition to the regional tax. Applying costs 150 euro and that fee is not refunded. For candidates from outside the EU and Schengen area, applications for the single session run from October 2026 to 10 February 2027. The Luiss Test is held from 22 to 26 February 2027. Enrolment closes on 4 May 2027. EU and Schengen candidates applying on a certificate instead have until 24 March 2027.
