What the call asks for
Upper secondary school diploma valid for admission to Italian universities, held or obtained by the deadlines the University sets.
Qualifications are only accepted for enrolment if obtained after at least two years of attendance in the same school system.
In school systems that require a national admission exam for university access, the diploma is only eligible if accompanied by the certificate showing successful completion of that exam.
Selection through the Luiss Test, which is psycho-aptitude questions inspired by the SAT model covering logical reasoning, problem solving and mathematics, taken online with live proctoring. For a programme taught in English the test is taken in English.
Alternatively, direct admission with one of these certifications and minimum scores: SAT total score 1200/1600, LSAT total score 160/180, ACT total score 25/36, IB Diploma or Predicted Grade 36/45.
Only one degree programme may be named on the application, and that choice is binding for admission and for enrolment.

A three year bachelor's degree in law taught entirely in English at Luiss in Rome, covering transnational, comparative and EU law alongside economics, management and technology. It suits a school leaver who wants a legal career in international organisations, EU institutions or multinational companies rather than only in one national legal system.
The Bachelor's Degree in Global Law is a three year undergraduate programme at Luiss Guido Carli in Rome. It is worth 180 ECTS. It is taught entirely in English. The published study plan opens with the academic year 2027/2028.
The university's full description
The programme teaches law in a cross border setting. The first two years cover the foundations: Private Law, Principles of Roman Law, History of Law, Legal Theory, Transnational Constitutional Law, International Law, EU Law, Administrative Law, Comparative Public Law, Comparative Private Law, Comparative Business Law and Transnational Criminal Law. Economics and management sit beside them through Economics for Business and Introduction to Accounting. An elective course in the Humanities is included.
In the third year students choose one of three tracks. Global Law, Business & Tech looks at law, business and technological innovation. Global Law and International Organisations looks at international law and supranational institutions. Italian Law looks at the Italian legal system, and Luiss states it gives access to the Single-Cycle Master's Degree in Law through an accelerated pathway.
Teaching is not only lectures. The plan includes workshops, project work, simulations, legal clinics and a team competition called the Grand Challenge that runs across the first and second years. Every track also carries an internship worth 6 ECTS, a required language worth 4 ECTS and a final thesis worth 4 ECTS.
Admission is by selection, not open enrolment. Luiss runs its own admission test and also admits students directly on certain certifications. There is no English certificate requirement for first year entry. For a programme taught in English, the Luiss Test itself is taken in English.
